My Reading Tutors offers personalized, one-on-one reading tutoring sessions to children and adults of all ages. We specialize in using the Orton-Gillingham approach to help people master reading, writing, spelling, and phonological awareness. We also offer tutoring in the following subjects: Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Spanish, French, ESL, Public Speaking, and Test Taking Skills.

All of our tutors are subject matter experts and experienced teachers. We come from backgrounds that include Montessori, homeschooling, unschooling, and traditional education philosophies. What sets us apart from other tutoring providers is our approach to learning. We take the time to get to know each student individually so we can create the best learning experience for them. We provide a safe, nurturing environment that ensures all learners can meet their goals.
Personalized Lessons
All our tutoring sessions are customized to fit your needs. We do a thorough initial assessment of every student so we can get a clear picture of the learner's strengths and growth areas. We then make sure to focus on the skills your learner needs to master. Whether you need a tutor a few times a month or ongoing weekly sessions, we can create a plan that works for your family. We offer tutoring sessions both in-person and online.
